James Francus Cobb, 80, of Cleburne, passed away Friday, November 29, 2019 in Cleburne. He was born June 6, 1939 in Buckhannon, West Virginia to George McKinley Cobb and Ida Pearl (Bennett) Cobb. James served as a draftsman (Specialist 5) in the Army, and while stationed at Ft. Bliss, in El Paso, Texas, he met Maria D. Garcia. James married Maria D. Garcia on October 18, 1963 in Durango, Mexico. He was a sales engineer with over 16 years of service with Thomas Conveyor. James was a member of Bethel Temple Assembly of God.
James is survived by his wife, Maria D. Cobb of Cleburne; children, James W. Cobb of Cleburne, Christy (Means) Vasiliou and husband George Vasiliou of Dallas; grandchildren, Codie Cobb, Kim Nowlin, Chase Means, Kaleigh Cobb, Preston Means; great grandchildren, Joshua Hernandez, Isabella Cobb, Lilia Nowlin and Juliana Means.
James is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Maria Victoria Cobb, 3 brothers and 1 sister
