James Edrington

Service for James Edward Edrington, 70, of Grandview will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Dave Wilkerson will officiate. Pallbearers will be LaVell Johansen, Rick Decker, Tim Hendrix, Teddy Don Rueffer, Clay Gaston and Chris Gaston. Honorary pallbearers will be Herman Redder, Cecil Kuehler, Jerry Benson and A.C. Richardson. Burial will be in Watts Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 P.M. Tuesday.

Mr. Edrington passed away Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012 in Cleburne. He was born January 17, 1941 in Wichita Falls to Homer and Mary Mulroy Edrington. He married Linda Dean Haynie on Feb. 23, 1968 in Luling, LA.

James Edrington was a commercial truck owner and operator and was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Linda Edrington; son, Doug Edrington and wife Justine; grandson, Colt Edrington, all of Grandview; a sister, Dorothy Gaston and husband Jerry of Azle; one brother Leonard Edrington and wife Janice of St. Joseph, Missouri and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter in 1970 and two brothers.
