Service for James Albert Gillock, III, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 15, 2013 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.
James Albert Gillock, III passed away Tuesday, Mar. 11, 2013 in Cleburne. He was born Sept. 3, 1948 in Ft. Worth to James A., Jr. and Martha Mae Hall Gillock.
Mr. Gillock owned and operated Jim's Autos for over 43 years. He was a member of Henderson Street Baptist Church. Jimmy was known as Papa to his granddaughters and they were his life. He was a talented mechanic who could build anything. He was also a jokester and a very giving, loving person. His nurturing ways and fun loving spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his daughter, Amy Lingo and husband Scott; grandchildren, Kailee Lingo, Hannah Lingo and Rylan Lingo; brother, George Gillock; several cousins, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
