Memorial service for James Durwood Greene, 61 of Joshua, will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at the Lane Prairie Baptist Church. Visitation will be prior to the service at 12:30 P.M.
James Durwood Greene passed away Friday, May 3, 2019 in Fort Worth. He was born August 28, 1957 in Fort Worth, to Claude and Beverly Jo Ann (Ford) Greene. James married Jamie Padgett on June 26, 1994 in Fort Worth. He was a sign specialist for the City of Fort Worth.
James is survived by his wife, Jamie Greene of Joshua; daughters, Melissa Greene, Stacey Greene and Ali Greene all of Joshua; son, James Alex Greene of Joshua; stepson, Trey Vann of Haslet; stepdaughter, Colby Vann of Colorado Springs; sister Judy Wadsworth of Joshua; 7 grandchildren and numerous family and friends.
