Private graveside service for James Hackler, 94, of Rio Vista, will be conducted in Rio Vista Cemetery.
James Hackler passed away Friday, March 20, 2020 in Cleburne. He was born November 26, 1925 in Brownwood to William Winton and Ida Alice (Thomas) Hackler. James married Mary Dell Miller on June 2, 1945 in Cleburne. James was a machinist for the Santa Fe Railroad before his retirement.
James is survived by his wife, Mary Hackler; daughter, Sharon Ingram and Bobby; son,
Butch Hackler and Tonya; grandchildren. Jeff Ingram and Malea, Kim Ingram, Chad
Hackler, Brandi Benoit and Nic, Brody Hackler and Calla, Zane Hackler and Brandy;
great-grandchildren, Shane Ingram and Kimberly, Kayla Houghtaling and Josh,
Braxton Benoit, Graci Benoit, McKenzie Hackler, Colton Hackler, Lizzy Hackler, Kody
Hackler, Lane Tucker Hackler, Stetson James Hackler; great-great-grandchildren,
Emmy Ingram and Ellie Ingram and sister, Linda Manning and Don.
James is preceded in death by his parents, W.W. and Alice Hacker, son, Larry Hackler,
daughter Judy Hackler McNatt, brother, Wintie Lee Hacker, sisters, Una York and
Lona Pritchard
