Graveside services for James Adon Isbell, 82, of Longview will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne, Texas, under the direction of Crosier-Pearson Funeral Home of Cleburne. Mr. Isbell passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, in a local hospital.
Mr. Isbell was born June 24, 1930, in Maypearl, Texas, to Ward and LeAnn Stansberry Isbell. He had been a resident of Longview for 40 years, was a 32-year employee of Hunt-Wesson Foods and was owner of Framemakers in Longview. Mr. Isbell also enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Doug Isbell.
Surviving are his wife, Jean Isbell of Longview; son, Ray Isbell of Longview, son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Sue Isbell of Rhome, Texas; daughter, Adonna Vrba and fiance, Sam Boger, of Cleburne, grandsons, James Andrew and Jeremy Vrba; great-grandsons, Braden and Ethan Vrba; brother, Royal Ward Isbell of Conroe, Texas; and sisters, Mary Cathrine Watson of Ennis and Virginia Gale Heine of Las Vegas, Nev.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at Crosier-Pearson Funeral Home, 512 Ridgeway Drive in Cleburne, Texas.
