Services for James Murlin Johnson of Godley will be conducted at 2 P.M. Tuesday, March 18 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Michael Crocker will officiate. Burial will be in the Godley cemetery. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
James Murlin Johnson passed away Saturday, March 15 in Cleburne. He was born May 18, 1922 in Fall Creek (Hood County) Texas to Edgar D. and Minnie Ola Hensley Johnson. He was a mechanic in the aircraft industry, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of the Baptist church.
He is survived by his wife, Corbie Crocker Johnson, one son, Jay Johnson and wife Sharla of Godley, granddaughters, Nikki and Kayla of Godley, two brothers, O'Neil Johnson and wife, Almeda and Sydney Johnson and wife, Janelle both of Cleburne. He was preceded in death by parents and three brothers.
