Visitation for James L. Smith, 73, of Blum will be from 5-7:00 P.M., Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.
James L. Smith passed away Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017 in Ft. Worth. He was born April 20, 1944 in Cooper, TX to Wilbur and Virginia Bolen Smith. He married Martha Smith on May 3, 1985 in Cleburne.
Mr. Smith worked as a machinist in the oil and gas industry and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Martha Smith; son, Patrick and Jodi Morris; daughters, Misti and Chris Bullard and Andrea and Robert Harper; grandchildren, Casey Morris, Toby and Lauren Morris , Bri-Anna Munoz, Ethan Morris, Caston and Suzanne Harp and Guido Ottesen-Smith; great grandchildren, Rex Lee Morris and Sophia and Rosalyn Harp; brother, Richard Smith; and cousin, Wilma and Junior Roye. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, James Edward Smith.
