Visitation for James Wallace Nichols, Sr., 68, of Cleburne, will be conducted 5:00-7:00 P.M., Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.
James Wallace Nichols, Sr. passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 in Cleburne, Texas. He was born1952 in Ranger, Texas to Aaron Coy Nichols and Matta Lou Searcy. James married Amber Shivers on July 13, 2007 in Cleburne and the two were married until her passing.
James was known for being quiet the charter, quit witted, funny and a great story telling. James loved being outdoors. He had wonderful big gardens and grew beautiful sunflowers. Like the rest of his family, James loved to fish and would go fishing with his son Little James when given the chance.
Throughout his life James owned and operated tree trimming services in his local area and knew any type of tree by heart. James will be greatly missed by his family and friends!
James is survived by his children, James Wallace Nichols, Jr. of Ranger, Texas, Brandi Lou Bumgarner and husband Craig of Grandview, Texas, Aaron Ray Nichols and wife Kimberly of Ranger, Texas and Kayla Janes of Lake Jackson, Texas. James is also survived by his brother, Jessie Ray Nichols and wife Angie of Centerville, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 4 nieces and 4 nephews.
James is preceded in death by his parents, Aaron Coy Nichols and Matta Lou Searcy, wife, Amber Nichols and sister, Jeanna Kay Huey.
