Service for James Edward Russell, 91, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, March 18, 2018 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend John Glover will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Saturday, March 17, 2018, at the funeral home.
James Edward Russell passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 in Cleburne. He was born April 15, 1926 in Josephine to James Moten and Molly Gill Russell. He married Imogean “Jean” Housden on June 19, 1946 in Dallas.
Mr. Russell served in the United States Navy and formerly worked as an assistant manager for a church camp. He was a member of Field Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sons, Larry Russell and wife Julie of Cleburne and Dr. Edward Russell and wife Idan of San Antonio; grandsons, Bryan Russell and wife Dilshad, Zachary Russell and Matthew Russell; great grandchildren, Dylan Russell and Rehan Russell. He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved wife, Imogean “Jean” Russell.
