Services for James Marvin Bennett Stephens, 92, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 26, 2019 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Phillip Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Baker-Lain Cemetery.

James Stephens passed away October 21, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born August 14, 1927 in Wortham, Texas to Edwin Chancellor and Dovie Lee (Hobbs) Stephens. He married Dolores June Richardson on July 7, 1946 in Grand Prairie, Texas. Mr. Stephens worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Dallas.

Survivors include his children, Carol Robertson Gladney and husband Gerald of Cleburne and Doug Stephens and his wife Donna of Allen; grandchildren, Wade, Dolores, Sandy, Laura, Valerie, Julie, Paul and Catherine; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife June Stephens who passed away July 16, 2016.
