James Worley

Services for James Worley, 74 of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 4, 2010 in Field Street Baptist Church. Rev. John Glover will officiate. Burial will be in Cleburne Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Colton Bivens, John Cook, Dale King, Jimmy Fox, Mike Harwell, Jerry Townley and Charles Strickland. Honorary pallbearers will be Colby Bivens, Andre Jones, Allaney Bivens, Micah Jones, Joshua Jones and Jackie Daniel.
Visitation will be held from 6:30-8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Worley passed away Monday, March 01, 2010 in Cleburne. He was born October 6, 1935 into the family of Lewis A. and Pearl Farmer Worley in Johnson City, Texas. He married Patricia Kay Smith on November 26, 1958 in Cleburne.

James graduated from Meredian High School in 1955 then served his country proudly in the U.S. Army. He owned and operated Worley Floor Covering for over 30 years. He was a past president of the Campfire board of directors and a member of Field Street Baptist Church.

He was a loving husband, devoted daddy, doting grandaddy and a friend to many. He will be missed greatly by all that knew and loved him.

James Worley is survived by his wife of 51 years, Pat Worley of Cleburne; daughters, Allison Bivens and husband, Colby of Joshua, Michelle Worley and husband, Andre Jones of Burleson and Jennifer Worley of Carrollton; four grandchildren, Colton Bivens, Allaney Bivens, Micah Jones and Joshua Jones; a number of nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Norman, Joe and Edwin Worley and two sisters, Rosemary and Francis Townley.
