Janarie Jean

Service for Janarie Jean, 88, of Blum will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 20, 2014 in Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Raymond Pruitt will officiate. Burial will be in Blanton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dusten Moore, Joey Moore, Chris Moore, Tyler Moore, Trey Limbaugh, and Joel Hix. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home.

Janarie Jean passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014 in Cleburne. She was born July 26, 1926 in Blum to Samuel Edgar and Ivy Pearl Bullard Ward. She married Douglas E. Jean on January 23, 1946 in Hillsboro and he preceded her in death on February 2, 1993.

Mrs. Jean was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was very active in her church as long as her health permitted.

Survivors include her daughters, Jana Hix, Karren Ellis and husband Tim, and Gail Moore and husband John; five grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one step great-great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and two sisters.
