Service for Janelle Burgess Johnson, 76, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 11, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Danny Rogers will officiate. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Johnson, Jarrod Johnson, Camron Carroll, Jose Garcia, Raymond Gonzales, and Laney Smith. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Janelle Burgess Johnson passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014 in Ft. Worth. She was born February 14, 1938 in Cleburne to Herbert Vergel and Katie Mae Carlock Burgess. She married Sidney Earl Johnson on June 29, 1955 in Cleburne.

Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and a member of Lebanon Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Sidney Johnson of Cleburne; three children, Randall Johnson and wife Dorsey, Regina Carroll and husband Carl of Cleburne, and Kris Johnson and wife Steffanie of Burleson; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Stepp of Cleburne and Virgie Johnson of Rio Vista; brother, Donald Ray Burgess; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Alene Davis and Louise Wallis; and three brothers, Leon Burgess, Sonny Burgess, and Wendell Burgess.
