Service for Janet McAfee Rogan, 64, of Allen, Texas will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 12, 2022, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial to follow in Watts Chapel Cemetery.
Although there is no visitation, friends and family are welcome to sign the register book at the funeral home.
Janet passed away Monday, October 3, 2022, in Allen. She was born May 9, 1958, in Georgetown, Texas to Reverend Charles “Joe” McAfee and Ida Louise (Fields) McAfee. Janet worked as a Degree Specialist for Collin County College for several years. She was of the Baptist faith. She was extremely active in her church. Jan was all heart, always there for those she loved. Her love of people and outgoing nature drew you to her. Jan was a jokester. She enjoyed traveling, Bible studies, and Christian music. Jan will be missed greatly and remembered with a smile by those she leaves behind.
Jan was preceded by her parents, Reverend Charles “Joe” McAfee and Ida McAfee Bowman; stepfather: Reverend Glenn C. Bowman; and brother, Charles D. McAfee.
She is survived by her daughter, Abbie Rogan; sister, Zelma Bielat and husband, Martin; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
