A memorial service in honor of Janice Holliday, 76 of Cleburne, Texas will be held on March 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home in Cleburne, Texas. Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate a life that radiated love, creativity, and joy.
Janice was born on March 17, 1949, in Cleburne, Texas. She passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and creativity.
Janice was the beloved wife of Armond Leonardo for 16 cherished years. Together, they created a beautiful life, marked by joy and shared passions. She was a devoted mother to her children, Michael Leonardo and his wife Angie, and Victoria Leonardo-Mason and her husband Brent; grandchildren Jordan Fruin and his wife Kattie, Reid Howells, Preston Howells, Dylan Howells, Sapphire Mason, Christian Leonardo, and Chase Leonardo; sisters, Linda Snelson, Lynn Martin, and Sharon Schultz; sister-in-law, Jo Leonardo, brother-in-law, Bruce Kasnick, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of beloved friends, all of whom treasured their time with her.
Known for her vivacious spirit, Janice was often described as the "life of the party." Her great eye for detail shone through in her passion for interior design, where she expertly crafted beautiful and inviting spaces. She embraced challenges and dares with enthusiasm, always ready to venture into the next exciting undertaking.
Janice's nurturing nature and willingness to help others were hallmarks of her character. She was a giver at her core, dedicated to making the lives of those around her brighter. Her love for gardening, shared with her husband, turned their home into a stunning oasis that reflected her creative spirit and her deep commitment to family.
She will be deeply missed but remembered fondly for the countless ways she touched the lives of those around her.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, R.C. and Geraldine Barker, as well as her brother, Gerald Barker; sister, Carole Laitz; brothers-in-law, Gary Laitz, Milton Schultz, Jr. , and Jimmy Snelson.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the charity of your choice.
