Janie Birchfield

Janie Sue Birchfield, 72, of Cleburne, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020 in Fort Worth. She was born June 25, 1947 in Arkansas to Carl and Gloris (Yancy) Westerman. Janie married Dennis Birchfield on July 13, 1965 in Cleburne. She was a clerk for Keene Distributors.


Janie is survived by her husband, Dennis Birchfield of Cleburne; daughter, Denise Johnson of Cleburne; son, Dennis Birchfield, Jr. of Cleburne; brother J.D. Westerman of Cleburne; sisters, Carlene Graham of Michigan and Loretta Wolf of Jermyn, Texas; grandchildren, Breanna Corbitt, Cassidi Fisher, Danielle Birchfield, Kevin Birchfield, Brandon Birchfield and Austin Johnson and 5 great- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Open visitation will be 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 24, 2020 at the funeral home.
A private graveside will be conducted in Rio Vista Cemetery.
