Jason Matthews

A memorial visitation for Jason W. Matthews, 56, of Godley will be conducted from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, July 27, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel.
Jason W. Matthews passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017 in Godley, after a brief battle with cancer. He was born June 14, 1961 in Cleburne to James L. and Mary Ann Cheek Matthews.
Mr. Matthews worked as a driver at Burnco Redi-Mix Concrete.
Survivors include his parents, Mary Ann and James L. Matthews of Godley; children, Bobby Matthews of Granbury, Steven Matthews and wife Heather of Cleburne and Kendall Nabours and husband Justin of Glen Rose; grandchildren, Ryder Nabours, Hunter Nabours, Abi Matthews, Kyle Matthews, and Lincoln Matthews; special friend, Diana Tomlins and her daughter, Jillian Burton; stepdaughters, Holly Kephart and family and Brandy Cearley and family and their mother, Judy Matthews; sister, Julie Davidson and husband Del of Stephenville; aunts, Wanda Waggoner and husband Travis and Janice Griffin and husband Danny, all of Granbury; numerous cousins and additional loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lonnie and Lula Matthews and Walter and Roxie Cheek.
