Service for J.B. "Donald" Clark, 71, of Itasca will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Larry Lynch and Pastor Z.D. Cooper will officiate. Burial will follow in Grange Hall Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, at the funeral home.
Mr. Clark passed away Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 in Glen Rose. He was born Oct. 11, 1941 in Ft. Worth to Jackson B., Sr. and Mary Ruth Coomer Clark. He married Mary Helen Dollar and she preceded him in death in 2000. He then married Edith Ann Cooper on March 8, 2001 and she preceded him in death on Aug. 19, 2010.
Donald served his country in the United States Navy. He was a self-employed contractor and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include his sons, Joseph Clark, Phillip Curran and Bruce Tice; daughters, Lisa Hendrix, Elaine Clark, Helen Smith, Christine Talley, Virginia Speer, Misty Barnes and Emily Duke; stepdaughter, Natalie Smith; stepson, James Lemons; 30 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sisters, Billie Batchelor, Geneva Wallace, Raynell Batchelor and Doris Mullins; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Jackson B. Sr. and Mary Ruby Clark; brothers, Edward Clark and Wayne Clark; sister, Naomi Hanson; and a son, Thomas Curran.
