Service for J.D. Reynolds, 85, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 15, 2015 in the First United Methodist Church of Grandview. The Reverend Daniel So will officiate. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Micheal Young, Les Woodard, Tony Maldonado, Boyd Reynolds, Jeffory Taylor, James Evetts, Troy York, and Jerry Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be Jesse Reynolds, James Ball, Dallas Burrow, Charles Burrow, David Nickelson, Jay Bishop, Quincy Armstrong, Gerald Davis, Roy Tackett, Bradley Harper, and Paul Jackson. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.

J.D. Reynolds passed away Friday, April 10, 2015 in Cleburne. He was born May 20, 1929 in Calico Rock, Arkansas to Newel Jefferson and Rose May Fitzhugh Reynolds.
Mr. Reynolds was a Korean War veteran of the United States Army and worked as a contract carpenter for more than 25 years. He was a member of the Grandview Volunteer Fire Department for 25 years and a past member of the Grandview Lions Club, VFW, and American Legion. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church in Grandview.

Survivors include his daughter, Debora Reynolds of Cleburne; son, Dale Reynolds and wife Diane of Cleburne; granddaughters, Mendy Woodard and husband Les of Cleburne, Katrina Ball and husband James of Covington, and Elizabeth Maldonado and husband Tony of Denton; six great grandchildren, Micheal Young, Lisa Najera, Patrick Mitchell, Jeffory Taylor, April Reynolds, and Zayden Maldonado; four great-great grandchildren, David Reynolds, Jeremiah, Izabella and Emmalee Najera; brother, Jesse Reynolds and wife Carolyn of Batesville, Arkansas; sisters, Bessie Baker and Faye Baker, both of Batesville, Arkansas; special friend, Orita Barnes of Keene; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Justin Newell Reynolds; brothers, Herman, Harvey, Earl, Eugene, Harlan, Junior, William, and Ralph Reynolds; and sister, Tempie Burrow.
