Jean Cole

Services for Jean Walker Cole, 105, of Cleburne, will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2008 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Rev. Sally Fleming will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
Jean Walker Cole passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2008 in Cleburne. She was born September 23, 1902 in Annapolis Royal Nova Scotia, Canada to Ambrose and Eleanor Barteaux Walker. She married Irving William Cole on October 11, 1928 in San Francisco, CA. She became a naturalized US citizen on June 13, 1941.
Mrs. Cole retired as a bookkeeper and was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church.
Jean Walker Cole is survived by her nephews, Bill Cole of Cleburne, Jim Cole of Lubbock, Richard Cole of Baton Rouge and Joe Spears of Florida and nieces, Brenda Gilmore of Arlington and Jean Adler of Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irving W. Cole on January 17, 1999.
