Jeanetta Sue (Kerrick) Bryant

Services for Sue (Kerrick) Bryant, age 76, of Sanger, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 7, 2024, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ken Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Godley Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 9-10:00 A.M. prior to the service. Serving as pallbearers are Xander Bryant, Tony Bryant, Billy Bryant, Nicolas Woods, Brodey Woods, Grant Woods, Nathan Bryant, Jeremy Bryant, and Shannon Bryant.

Sue passed away peacefully on September 2, 2024, in Sanger. She was born on August 31, 1948, in Amarillo, Texas, to Barney Ray and Flossie Elizabeth (Garner) Kerrick. On October 14, 1967, Sue married David Elbert Bryant in Amarillo, a partnership that lasted 37 years until his passing in 2005. Throughout her life, Sue was an active member of the Crestview Baptist Church of Georgetown, where she dedicated her time to volunteering with children, particularly through Vacation Bible School. Professionally, Sue was self-employed and operated her own business, David’s Upholstery, showcasing her skills and passion for upholstery work. Known for her warmth and storytelling ability, she was also a devoted mother who cherished her family. Sue’s legacy will be remembered by all who knew her for her kind heart and unwavering commitment to her community and loved ones.

Survivors include her son, Shannon Bryant & Michele, son, Jeremy Bryant & Colleen; brother, Jimmy Kerrick & Valaree; daughter-in-law, Marcy Bryant; grandchildren, Tabitha Lierley & Shad, Heather Bryant, Maggie Bryant, Tifany Bryant, Rebeca Bryant, Nathan Bryant, and David Bryant, Jordan Morrison & Moses, Tony Bryant, and Xander Bryant; great-grandchild, Fox Lierley, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Sue was preceded in death by her sons, Shane Bryant and Jason Bryant; husband, David Bryant; and parents, Barney and Flossie Kerrick.
