Memorial service for Jeanette “Ann” Moore Nichols, 79, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday October 12, 2019 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Dr. John Hall will officiate.
Jeanette “Ann” Moore Nichols passed away Friday, October 4, 2019 in Cleburne. She was born July 6, 1940 in St. Louis to John Willison and Estie May (Shoemaker) Moore. She married Tommy Ray Nichols on June 20, 1958 in Midland.
Ann had great faith and a servant’s heart. She never met anyone who didn’t love her. People gravitated towards her big heart and giving spirit. She had an infectious smile that brought sunshine in the room when she walked in. Ann could do anything painting, sewing, and building all sorts of stuff. Ann was a creative artist and cook. She was famous for her fudge and peach cobbler. Ann was outgoing with an independent streak and strong will. She truly loved life.
Ann is survived by her husband of 60 years, Tommy Ray Nichols; daughter Pamela Worden; grandchildren, Tommy Dwayne Jones and Brandy, Janelle Ann Tyler; 4 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild born on Ann’s birthday; siblings, Virginia who passed away the day after her sister, Annette and Leonard, Ronald and Ann, Linda; nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Ann is preceded in death by, her parents, son Timothy Lynn Nichols and brother Russell
