Jeanette Wylie was born on April 1, 1921 in Cleburne, the daughter of Ernest Henry and Selma Graeter Ebner. She graduated from Cleburne High School in 1939 and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Trinity University in San Antonio in 1943. She worked for the National War Labor Board in Dallas, for the Santa Fe Railroad in Cleburne, and was a legal secretary for Terry W. Bradley and a number of other law firms in Cleburne.
She was very active in all concerns of her church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and
great-grandmother. She also enjoyed her many friends, and especially her church friends.
She was married to Robert M. Wylie in Cleburne on August 14, 1944. She was predeceased by her husband on February 23, 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Sherri Graf and husband Don of Cleburne and her son Gary L. Wylie and his wife Cindy of Houston; her sister, Mrs. Evelyn Lebahn of Ft. Worth; six grandchildren, Ben, Grant, and Rachel Wylie of Houston, Jason, Jonathan and Jeremy Graf of Cleburne; two
great-granddaughters, Brianna and Alyssa Graf of Cleburne; also two nephews and several cousins.
