Jeff Hadley, 54, of Cleburne, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 in Fort Worth. He was born June 14, 1967 in Cleburne to Frederick Lloyd and Linda Lee Layland Hadley. He was a 1985 graduate of Cleburne High School. Jeff married Amberly Kay Lovell on July 19, 1986 in Cleburne and had a daughter, Amanda Kay Hadley Ellis.
Jeff was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed taking his family, friends and especially children out with him during these adventures. He wanted all children to experience the outdoors and to share his love of fishing with them.
He was a fourth-generation Master Plumber and owner of Layland Plumbing, following in the footsteps of his, great-grandfather - W.J. Layland, Grandfather - Irving Layland and Father - Fred Hadley. His knowledge of plumbing helped to grow the business for future generations.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Amberly Hadley, daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and William Ellis, mother Linda Hadley, brother Rick and wife Veronica Hadley, several nieces, nephews, uncles, his family at Layland Plumbing, and many wonderful and supportive friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced by the family. As per Jeff’s wishes, he did not want any formal services and wanted to be taken to his favorite fishing area in Port O’Connor, Texas.
We want to thank all of our great family and friends for your support during this time of loss for our family. He was very supportive of the Texas Game Wardens Association for their children’s programs.
Donations in Jeff’s name can be made to Donations – Texas Game Warden Association in memory of Jeff Hadley and Ty Patterson.
