Jeffie Adams

Services for Jeffie Adams, 79, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, January 28, 2009 in the New Hope Baptist Church. The Reverend Steve Mullen and The Reverend Phil Vaughn will officiate. Burial will be in the Baker-Lain Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tom Searcy, BJ Fowler, Will Tipping, Ronnie Crecelius, Johnny Rich, and Ronnie Roberts. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ted Roberts, Gary Janacek, Chris Boody, Travis Boody, Carlton Crook, and Grady Cheek.
Mrs. Adams passed away Friday, January 23, 2009 in Cleburne. She was born August 8, 1929 in Kopperl to Logan Allen and Alice Aline Hughes Bynum. She married J.W. Adams on May 3, 1947 in Glen Rose. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.
Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband of 61 years, J.W. Adams of Cleburne; 2 daughters, Sharon Fowler and husband Bobby of Cleburne, Thressa Tipping and husband Stephen of Rio Vista; sister Linda Crecelius and husband Darrell of Cleburne; 4 grandchildren, Landy Boody, B.J. Fowler, Randa Johnson and Will Tipping; 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Virginia Rich, brother, L.A. Bynum, grandson, Jeremy Tipping and 2 nephews, Larry and Randy Bynum.
