Jennifer "Jennie" Lee York

Jennifer "Jennie" Lee York, a beloved figure known for her radiant smile and unwavering warmth, passed away on December 12, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on April 7, 1962, in Marietta, Georgia, Jennie's vibrant spirit touched the lives of everyone she encountered throughout her journey.She was not just a mother but a best friend to her children, who cherished her deeply. 

Jennie is survived by her devoted spouse, Steven York. Together, they crafted a life filled with love and laughter. Her legacy continues through her children: Airlia York, Celeste York, Jelisha York, Orian York, Amereth Martin and her spouse Kevin, Joshu York, Marilyn Nguyen, and Brea Mangrum. Jennie's grandchildren—Allora Bratcher, Evan Elizabeth, Isaiah York, Aiden Stephens, Jahmari Lindsey, Jionni, Javonni, Kyler Martin, Jaden Sterling, Lilyann York, and Theo York—were the joy of her life, and she always made time to illuminate their days with her infectious happiness.Jennie was also a loving sister to Leslie Burns, Michael Reagor, and John Reagor, who will forever hold dear the memories they shared. Her profound sense of community extended to all who knew her, as she was a source of joy and positivity, making everyone around her happy.

She now joins her parents, Leslie Wayne and Maude La Vern Young Reagor, and her grandchild, Corvin Stephens, in eternal rest. Jennie also held a special place in her heart for her mother-in-law, Dorothy N. Rogers, who has preceded her in death.
