Jerline Harwell

Services for Jerline Roane Harwell, 66, of Crowley, formerly long-time resident of Rio Vista will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2010 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Brother Alton Harwell will officiate. Pallbearers will be Tony, Weldon, Richard and Karen Harwell, Todd Hall and Darrell Hackler. Burial will be in Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 p.m.
Mrs. Harwell passed away Friday, April 2, 2010 in Ft. Worth. She was born September 16, 1943 in Cleburne to Rufie Elmer and Maggie Mae Kiker Roane. She married Richard Stanley Harewll on April 1, 1961 in Cleburne. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Burleson.
Mrs. Harwell is survived by her two sons, Richard E. Harwell and wife, Kay of Burleson and Jeff Harwell and wife, Lisa of Rio Vista; one daughter, Melinda Fiscus and husband, Stephen of Crowley; grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy, Austin, Colton, Remington and Cooper Harwell, Jennifer Chadwell and husband, Jacob, Michelle Shanor and husband, Corey, Angela and Caleb McCarty, Phylicia Pack and husband Robbie; great-grandchildren, Bailey and Gracie Chadwell, Corey and Cameron Pesina; step-sister, Ruth Doherty.
She was always happy with a smile on her face, full of life and vitality. She loved playing dominos and spending time with her family, friends and extended family. Enjoyed music and spending time with her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by husband, Richard Stanley Harwell, grandchild Channa Mae McCarty, sister, Emiline Roane, step sister, Dorothy York, step brother, Clarence Locker and her parents.
The family will be gathering at First Baptist Church of Rio Vista, after the service.
