Jerry Tomb

Jerry Edward Tomb, 74, Rio Vista, formerly of Slate Run, PA, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 in Rio Vista. He was born February 3, 1944 in Tioga, PA to Gail Edward and Maryruth Perry Tomb. He married Vicki Louise Heck on June 12, 1993 in Ansonia, PA.
Mr. Tomb was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, brother and a friend to many. He worked as a stone mason.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Vicki Tomb of Rio Vista; children, Melinda Sanderson and husband Andrew of Milford, PA, Philip Tomb and wife Chantone of York, PA, Maria Shuflat and husband Michael of Lanoka Harbor, NJ, Patrick Tomb and wife Kathy of Orange Grove; Terry English of Lancaster, PA, Melissa Heck, and Jerri Case, both of Rio Vista; 17 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brother, Grant Tomb and wife Kathy of Rio Vista; sister, Barbara Bellinger and husband Ron of Wellsboro, PA; and several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
