Service for Jerry Lynn Webb, 70, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, December 29, 2014 in Bethel Temple Assembly of God. The Reverend Mike Mizell will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.
A family reunion like none ever before, with all manner of characters imaginable, took place early Friday morning when Jerry Lynn Webb entered the gates of heaven and into the arms of the King of Kings. Yes, he left behind an enormous amount of love from his wife, best friend, and soul mate Brenda. And, he left behind an overwhelming amount of love from his three adoring daughters, the kind of love that would be the envy of every father on Earth. But, he also left behind a legacy of strength, honor, courage, and unconditional devotion that will serve to inspire his children and descendants for generations to come. Godspeed, Jerry, and God Bless. You’ve left us a pair of shoes that can never be filled again, but in trying, we are all made better.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Brenda Webb; daughters, Tammy Burruss and husband John, Gerri Lyn Combest and husband Christopher, and Hope Kirkpatrick and husband Trey; eight grandchildren, Ronnie Burruss, Thorne Combest, Blayne Webb, Mercedes Grant, Mackenzie Kirkpatrick, Isabella Combest, Alyson Kirkpatrick, and Hayden Kirkpatrick; five great grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Muirhead, Bobbie Robison, Patricia Gordon, Gayle Kupfner, and Debbie Meadows and husband Rick; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Mary Estelle Webb and a sister, Carolyn Nuttall.
