Jesse Wendell Ellis passed away Monday, August 21, 2006 in Rockport, TX. He was born December 19, 1925 in Johnson County, Texas to J.C. and Bessie Griffith Ellis. He married Bette Jo Bishop on January 25, 1953.
Mr. Ellis was a retired real estate developer and was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in WWII.
Jesse Wendell Ellis is survived by his wife, Bette Ellis of Rockport, TX and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Evelyn Kennon and two brothers, Marshall Ellis and Gilbert Ellis.
