Jesse Roberts

Jesse Ruby Roberts passed away Sunday, February 27, 2005 in Ennis. He was born August 17, 1912 in Somervell County, to Step Jesse and Lela Kirk Roberts. He married Addie Bell Sandlin on January 6, 1936 in Cleburne.
Mr. Roberts was a carman with Santa Fe Railroad and retired with 32 years of service. He was a member of Buel Baptist Church.
Jesse Ruby Roberts is survived by three sons, Franklin Roberts of Cleburne, Tommy Roberts of Burleson and Johnny Roberts and wife Tee of Ennis; four daughters, Dorothy Moxley and husband Sam of Burleson, Doris Johnston of Temple, Ella Hathcock and husband Roger of Cleburne and Clara Roberts of Cleburne; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
