Jesse John Tejeda

Services for Jesse John Tejeda, aged 89, of Cleburne, Texas, will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, December 20, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Cleburne, with Father Sergio Rizo officiating. Burial will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 24, 2024 in DFW National Cemetery. The visitation will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 19, 2024, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel, where a Rosary will commence at 6:00 P.M. Serving as pallbearers will be Juan Tejeda, Hector Tejeda, Arturo Rolon, Carlos Enrique Penagos Tejeda, Andres Penagos Tejeda, and Leonardo Penagos Martinez .

Jesse passed away on December 15, 2024, in Cleburne. He was born on March 8, 1935, in Ciudad Madero, Tamaulipas and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. On August 23, 1975, he married Guadalupe Enriquez Serratos in his hometown. An honorable veteran, Jesse served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War before transitioning to a successful career as an electrician. He had a profound love for gardening and enjoyed engaging in projects around his home. Above all, Jesse cherished his family, with a special affection for his grandchildren. He held education in high regard and took immense pride in his children's accomplishments as educators.

Jesse is survived by his devoted wife, Guadalupe Tejeda, with whom he shared over 49 years of marriage; his son, Juan Tejeda and wife Veronika; daughter, Evelyn Rolon; son, Hector Tejeda and wife Amber; grandsons, Arturo Rolon and Juan Pablo Tejeda; granddaughters, Anna Victoria Rolon, Victoria Aurora Tejeda, Emelia Lucille Tejeda, and Laura Genevieve Tejeda; as well as sisters, Maria Teresa Tejeda Rojas, Maria De Jesus Tejeda Rojas, Maria Esther Tejeda Rojas, along with numerous other loving relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan Pablo Tejeda Enriquez and Felicitas Rojas Cruz; his siblings, Loyda Tejeda Rojas, Hector Tejeda Rojas, and Gloria Tejeda Rojas.

Jesse John Tejeda's legacy of love and commitment to family and service will continue to inspire all who knew him.
