Jewell Carr

Mrs. Carr passed away in Fort Worth on Friday, October 23, 2009. She was born to the late, John and Julia Ann Talley Brown on February 4, 1928 in Goldthwaite. She was a member of the Covington Church of Christ and worked as a clerk in the insurance business for several years. Jewell was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Acie Charles Carr.

Survivors include her life partner and best friend, H.I. Moore; daughter, Roze Pierson; son, James Carr and wife, Wanda; grandchildren, Shauna Carr, Andrea Carr, Sarah Flowers, Jennifer Flowers, Acie Carr, and Jacob Carr; great grandchild, Jonathan Maddox Carr; sister, Ruby Basham; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
