Jewell Looper

Graveside services for Jewell Hudson Looper, of Cleburne, will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at Price's Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Bob Messer officiating.

Jewell Hudson Looper, a homemaker, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2005 in Cleburne. She was born August 2, 1909 in Alvarado, Texas, the daughter of Thomas James and Mary Byron Carruthers Hudson. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She married Roy Harris Looper, November 12, 1927, in Cleburne. He preceded her in death in 1990. She was also preceded in death by son, Thomas Paul, grandson, John Calvin, five sisters and two brothers.

Mrs. Looper is survived by, a daughter-in-law, Beatrice Looper; grandsons, James Ray Looper and wife, Billie and George Thomas Looper and wife, Yvonne; seven great-grandchildren and seventeen great-great-grandchildren.
