Jim Conlin

Service for Jim Conlin, 47, of Godley, will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Friday, December 31, 2021, in the Godley United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Godley Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, December 30, 2021, at the funeral home.

Jim passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021, in Godley. He was born October 4, 1974, in England to James Thomas and Kathleen Ann Conlin. He married Amy Kristine Short on February 16, 2013, in Godley. Jim was a Market Manager/Butcher in the Grocery industry and attended Godley United Methodist Church. He was a quiet, loyal, and quick-witted man who collected knives of all varieties. Jim was an avid music lover and a great cook especially when it came to grilling. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him.

Jim is survived by his wife, Amy Conlin, children, Pixie Jennings, Fiona Jennings, and Sydney Conlin; parents, Jim and Kathy Conlin; In-laws, Brad and Sharon Herrin; grandmother, Mary Booker; Brother and Sister-in-law, Bob Conlin and Jessica; Brother and Sisters-in-law, Kevin Short and Simone, Amber Herrin, and Shelby Herrin; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Cooks Children’s Hospital.
