Service for Jimmie Lee Raney Durant, 88, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018 in the Calvary Baptist Church. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Tin Top Cemetery in Parker County. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Saturday, at the funeral home.
Jimmie Lee Raney Durant passed away Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018 in Ft. Worth. She was born December 21, 1929 in the Fall Creek Community of Hood County to James E. and Angie Wetzel Raney. She married Curtis Ray Durant on March 30, 1946 in Acton. He preceded her in death on June 8, 2017, after 71 years of marriage.
Mrs. Durant worked as a bank teller, retiring with 30 years of service. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Graff and husband Don of Cleburne and Deborah Durant King and Mark Witt of Weatherford; sisters, Mavis Jones of Ft. Worth and Daphane Burns of Granbury; two grandchildren, Kevin McDaniel and wife Donna of Cleburne and Angie Helton and husband Wesley of Weatherford; four great grandchildren, Devin, Ryan, Caysen, and Jacob; and three great-great grandchildren, Savannah, Madi and Braylee. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Flossie and Rosalyn.
