Jimmie Gossett

Cleburne, Funeral services for Jimmie J. Gossett, 71, of Cleburne, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 18, 2005 at Cleburne's Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home, with Rev. Charles Payne officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Serving as Pallbeareers will be, Blake Freedman, Jeff Hughes, Mike Siever, Darren Breaux, Ronnie Lane and Richard Lane. Honorary pallbearers will be James Farmer and Ron Bohlman.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm, Thursday, at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield.

Jimmie J. Gossett, retired, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2005, in Fort Worth. He was born November 23, 1933, on Kosoma, Oklahoma to Everett and Fannie Gossett. He married Erika Sebert on January 23, 1961, He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1974 and from the Cleburne Post Office in 1992. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and was loved by many. He enjoyed his life, his wife, his family, traveling and his pets. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Andrea and granddaughter, Crystal Gathings.

He is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Erika Gossett; sons, Jimmy Gossett, arm Gossett and wife, Karen; daughters, Sharon Siever and husband, Mike, Monica Breaux and husband, Darren; grandchildren, Chris Gathings, C.J. Wood, Brittany Gossett, Journey Gossett, Tyler Moncrief, Megan Gossett, Payton Gossett, Paige Gossett, Landon Gossett and Erica Breaux, all of Cleburne and many nieces and nephews.
