Service for Jimmie Ruth Sutton, 72, of Balch Springs will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 5, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Gale Johnson and Associate Pastor Barnard Baylor will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-6:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.
Jimmie Ruth Sutton passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017 in Dallas. She was born Aug. 30, 1944 in Victoria to James Duff and Mary Esta Lee Reed Lincoln. She married John Earl Sutton, Sr. on February 16, 1963 in Ft. Worth and he preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 2014, after 51 years of marriage.
Mrs. Sutton worked as a Property Manager for UAH Property Management for 13 years. Jimmie enjoyed sewing, quilting and was a member of the Stephenville Quilting Club. She was a kind and selfless woman who always looked at life with love. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stephenville.
Survivors include her children, John Earl Sutton Jr. and wife Brenda of Port Orchard, WA, Theresa Burnett and husband Jason of Mesquite, Michelle Gall of Arlington and Marc Sutton and wife Stephanie of Roanoke; grandchildren, Jackson, Graham, Amanda, Courtney, Myles, Hayden, Brandon, Kristin, Vicki, and Maddison; great grandchildren, Makenzie, Danica, Dominic, Mason, Jemma, Chandler, Cason, and Julian; brother, James Lincoln and wife Pat of San Antonio; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends, who will all miss her greatly. She was also preceded in death by her parents; great grandson, Corbin Ulibarri and a brother, Carl Lincoln.
