Mr. Jimmy Adair passed away Friday, Feb. 24, 2006 in Cleburne. He was born June 7, 1942 in Cleburne to John Frank and Lois Marie Kennedy Adair. He married Larrea Joan Thacker on Nov. 2, 1955 in Cleburne. He was retired owner of A&A Iron and Metal Company in Cleburne. He was an avid supporter of the 4-H Club activities and the Johnson County Youth Fair. Mr. Adair enjoyed farming and ranching. He was a veteran of the U.S Army and was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Adair is survived by his two sons, Skip Adair of Cleburne and Chris Adair and wife Colleen of Abilene; four grandchildren, Mikala, Justin, Aaron and Alex Adair; three brothers, Larry Adair of Beaumont, Bobby Adair of Cleburne and Donnie Adair of Cleburne; three sisters, Johnnie Gent of Cleburne, Charlotte Collins of Cleburne, Barbara SoRelle of Joshua and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Larrea Adair on Dec. 31, 2001; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Adair and his son, Michael Gene Adair.
