Service for Jimmy Camp, 69, of Euless, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 10, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Chaplain Dennis Camp will officiate. Burial with Military Honors will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Jimmy Camp passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 in Garland. He was born March 20, 1948 in Cleburne to Joel Rodney and Margaret Pope Camp. He married Gayle Lynn North on Oct. 21, 1988 and she preceded him in death on Sept. 25, 2008.
Mr. Camp served proudly in the United States Army. He was a wood craftsman and was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include his beloved children, Samantha Story-Camp and husband Bruce, Sabrina Golebiewski and husband Thomas, Patrick Camp and wife Danielle; and Leslie Camp and husband Phil; 18 grandchildren, Alysia, Trey, Antony, Lorieia, Perrin, Gracen, Ashten, Ethan, Camryn, Caden, Austin, Delaney, Marie Eva, Tristen, Taylor, Orion, Max and Maggie; brothers, Floyd Camp and wife Shirley, Jesse Camp, Kenneth Camp and wife Loyce, Roger Camp and wife Merlyn, Luther Camp and wife Jeannie, James Camp and Cecil Camp; sisters, Mary Harrison and husband Douglas, Dovie George and husband Kenneth, Ruth Collins and husband Andrew, and Margaret McCollum and husband Murray; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him greatly. He was also preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Joe Camp, Monroe Camp, Timmy Camp and Ronnie Camp.
