Service for Jimmy Mack Carroll, 82, of Granbury, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 6, 2015 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial with Masonic rites will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Carroll, Timothy Carroll, Cade Carroll, Marti Carroll, Adam Napps, and Ryan Jeffrey. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, at the funeral home.
Jimmy Mack Carroll went to be with his Savior on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at his home in Las Cruces, NM. He was born on June 13, 1933 in Cleburne to Burl Bascomb and Vernice Tidwell Carroll. He married Bertha Frances Riecher on June 20, 1972 in Cleburne and she preceded him in death on Dec. 22, 2013.
Mr. Carroll was a tooling engineer at Lockheed Martin, retiring with 39 years of service. He was a loving husband, father, Paw-Paw, brother, father-in-law and a friend to many. Jimmy Mack loved to fish, read, tell stories, tell jokes; and be with family. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 315 and the Eastern Heights Church in Cleburne.
Survivors include his daughter, Delaine Napps and husband Ronnie of Blum; sons, Jimmy Dale Carroll and wife Melissa of Las Cruces, NM, Terry D. Carroll of Blum, and Jay Carroll and wife Charlotte of Pauls Valley, Okla.; step daughter, Debra Jeffrey and husband John; 12 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; sister, Nancy Hardesty and husband Bob; sister-in-law, Shelia Carroll; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Wendy Lynette Carroll; and brother, Burl Carroll, Jr.
