Jimmy Thetford

Memorial service for Jimmy Thetford, 69, of Mansfield, will be conducted at 1:30 P.M., Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate, assisted by the Reverend Brooks Monk. Visitation will be from 1:00-1:30 P.M., prior to the service, in the Charles Payne Building.
Jimmy Thetford passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015 in Mansfield. He was born July 30, 1946 in Cleburne to Wesley and Mary Smith Thetford.
Mr. Thetford was a 1964 graduate of Cleburne High School. He served in the United States Marines and was crew chief for Allied Drilling for more than 13 years. He enjoyed playing music and staying in touch with his classmates. Jimmy was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, Andy Thetford of Galveston; granddaughter, Teagan Thetford of Deposit, NY; aunt and uncle, Bill and Dorothy Thetford; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
