Jo Faught

Service for Jo Gunter Faught, 79, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Monday, June 23, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Phil Hieger will officiate. Committal will be at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 24, at Justin Cemetery in Justin. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.

Jo Gunter Faught passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014 in Keene. She was born December 2, 1934 in Jacksboro to Lark B. and Zella Mae Weaver Gunter. She married Bill Faught on December 24, 1949 in Justin.

Mrs. Faught was a switchboard operator for Leonard’s Department Store in Ft. Worth with 10 years of service. She was also the proprietor of Ma’s Clothes Line during the 1980’s and a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Bill Faught of Cleburne; children, Joan Senter and husband David of Accokeek, MD and Rick Faught and wife Holly of Crowley/Whitney; four grandchildren, Patti Jennings and husband James, Billy Senter, Danny Senter and wife Jami, and Amy Senter- Oelberg and husband Karl; five great grandchildren; brothers, George Gunter and R.C. Gunter and wife Wanda; and sisters, Frances Clayton and Christine King. She was preceded in death by her parents.
