J.O. Sims

Graveside services for J. O. Sims Jr. 77, of Cleburne, will be held at 2:00 PM, on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at Greenacres Memorial Park, with Pastor Don Worlow officiating. Procession to the cemetery starting at 1:30 P.M. from the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be nephews, Mike Turner, Jerry Turner, Jerrell Turner, Jesse Turner, Jody Turner and Jay Todd Turner. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Turner and Jason Turner.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Monday at Cleburne's Crosier-Pearson Funeral Home.

Mr. Sims passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2005 at his home in Cleburne. He was born on July 10, 1928 in Blum, Texas, the son of James Oscar Sr. and Hattie Mae Shelton Sims.

He is survived by his wife, Edith Sims, of Cleburne; daughters, Pam Cryer, of Godley, Debra Cryer and husband, Ricky, of Godley and Jennifer Ricketts and husband, Jeff, of Cleburne; grandchildren, Bubba, Shelly and Logan; sister, Sue Rogers, of Whitney and a host of nieces and nephews.
