Joan Roye

Our sweet mother went to her final resting place on Nov. 3, 2023. She went peacefully in her sleep Friday night in Pilot Point, TX. She was a lifetime resident of Cleburne, TX. She was born in Goose Creek, TX.

After a long battle with Alzheimer’s, she is now at peace and with her heavenly family. She always lit up a room with her brilliant smile, her sweet demeanor and her wonderful sense of humor. She worked at Marty’s Electronics, General Dynamics and retired from Lockheed Martin.

She was proceeded in death by her youngest daughter, Carla Sue Roye; her mother, Edith Moline Harrington; and her father, Thomas Harrington; and her son-in-law, Randy Smith.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Roye Frybarger and spouse, Robert ‘Bob’ of Oak Point, TX; and daughter, Tena Roye of Red Rock, TX; her granddaughter, Keila Fairbanks; and great- granddaughter, Juniper Fairbanks of Round Rock, TX; her sister, Judy Curlee of Cleburne, TX; brother, Raeford Harrington and spouse, Kay of Joshua, TX.; and brother, Gary Harrington and spouse, Laura of Marshall, TX; and many nieces, nephews and lots of friends.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
