Ms. Combs passed away Monday, October 24, 2005 in Ft. Worth. She was born September 25, 1939 in Venus, Texas to Ted and Iva McBroom Combs. She attended public school in Venus and was Church of Christ by faith.
Joann Combs is survived by three brothers, V. T. Combs of Keene, B. R. Combs and wife Pat of Abilene and E. O. Combs of Irving; brother-in-law, Calvin Mahanay of Abilene; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
