Joann Roye

Service for Joann Roye, 74, of Roanoke, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 18, 2015 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Live Oak Cemetery in Blum. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.
Joann Roye passed away Monday, September 14, 2015 in Dallas. She was born May 25, 1941 in Grosbeck, TX to Joseph and Cora Vickory Opry. She married Paul Vernon Roye, Jr. on December 8, 1957 in Goatneck.
Mrs. Roye worked as an assembler in North Texas Plastics for 12 years. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Roye, Jr.; sons, Lloyd Roye and wife Brandy, Johnny Roye and wife Sandra, Terry Roye and wife Samantha, and Paul Roye, III and wife Amy; daughters, Paula Click and husband Leo and Mary Sarnowski and husband Kenneth; 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; sisters, Geraldine Martin and Geneva Kirkland; brothers, Gerald, Lloyd, and Leonard Opry; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mary and Cora Mae; brothers, Floyd and John; and two great grandchildren, Bentley Click and Kaleb Roye.
