Service for Joe Barone, 71, of Burleson will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, June 3, 2018 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate, assisted by the Reverend Doug Shelley. Pallbearers will be Sonny Bankston, Ken Milligen, Terry McCoy, Jimmy Terry, Danny Howe, Larry Money, Donnie Dawson, and Vance Wakeland. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Totsch, Vidal Hance, Johnny Roger, and Richard Nunn. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Saturday, at the funeral home.
Joe Barone passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018 in Fort Worth. He was born January 25, 1947 in Fort Worth to Alfred and Rosa Mae Shelley Barone. He married Anna Liesa Harrell on December 7, 2013 in Burleson.
Mr. Barone was retired from Johns Manville with more than 32 years of service. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Anna Barone of Burleson; three children, Kevin Barone and wife Rachelle of Sacramento, CA, Ryan Barone and wife Emily of Austin and Dayton Barone and Anitra of Fort Worth; four stepchildren, Liesa Ann Jones and husband Dean of Burleson and Carolyn Armstrong and husband Auntwan of Crowley, William Houk and wife Sara of Grand Prairie, and Jennifer Houk of Joshua; 20 grandchildren, Corey Barone, Tate Barone, Makayla Barone, Emma Barone, Ava Barone and Olivia Barone, Danielle Abila, Jaeden Armstrong, Mia Armstrong, Gabbie Armstrong, Saibryn Coleman, Nevaeha Houk, Chloe Houk, Zoe Houk, Zach Twing, Kelton Gayoso, Caleb Shaw, Jude Hollis, Olivia Holmes and Jaxon Holmes; two siblings, Debra Morrison and husband John of Burleson and Terry Barone and wife Linda of Fresno, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Comilla Stout.
