Joe M. Jones, 88, of Cleburne passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022, in Cleburne. He was born August 14, 1933, in Cleburne to Marbie and Bessie Mae (Allred) Jones.
Joe served in the United States Navy and worked for the Santa Fe Railroad. He enjoyed the outdoors and took advantage of it every chance he had, to work on something when possible. Joe was an incredibly talented welder, and he would weld anything from decorations to automobiles. He was strong willed with an independent streak.
Joe is survived by his children and their spouses, Joe M. Jones Jr., and Teresa, Judy Stanton, and Rick Jones and Lisa; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Timothy Jones; sisters, T9cy Hall, Edna Beam and Melbie Jones.
